BEACHES & SCENERY
Cornwall is famous world-wide for its rugged cliffs and sandy beaches that offer endless opportunities to get out on the water.
Swimming, kayaking, sailing and even paddle-boarding are some of the top things to do in Cornwall and are all great ways to enjoy the stunning coastline.
The north coast is renowned as one of the top places in the UK for surfing with the annual ‘Boardmasters‘ surfing festival taking place every summer in Newquay.
Nearby Bude is a great place to visit if you love to ride the waves or just go for a walk and has loads of secret beaches scattered along the coast.
Besides water sports our coastline is full of incredible wildlife for you to spot, including seals, birdlife, puffins and even dolphins !

EATING OUT
Whether you're after one Cornwall's famous cream teas or a full 3-course meal there is something for everyone - from casual wood-fired food hideaways to Michelin-starred seafood restaurants.
Camelford and Boscastle have hotels and pubs, plus the local farmshops both have firat class cafes.
Nearby there is Tintagel which has a host of pubs and restaurants
Trebarwith Strand has the Port William which is well-known locally for its excellent seafood selection.
The moorland village of St. Breward has the Old Inn, while the world-famous Jamaica Inn is a short car ride. The local towns and villages have a wide selection of takeaways.
Bude boasts a fine collection including a tapas bar, several indian and chinese restaurants and several excellent fish & chip shops.

Days Out
From theme parks to pirates, Cornwall has something for everyone.
The Eden Project is 45 minutes away, as is Newquay with its Sea-Life Centre and Pirates Experience. There's the Lost Gardens of Heligan, mining museums and even Bodmin Jail to visit
You don't have to go far to find something to do in Cornwall.
If it's shopping your after there's a choice of Bude, Bodmin or Wadebridge. But if you're looking for a theme park there's the Camel Creek Adventure Park near Wadebridge or the Flambards Experience further down nearer the bottom of the county. Alternatively, Bodmin has the Wenford Railway, Cornwall's only full-sied steam train which runs a variety of themed evenbts and family days out; or the newly refurbished Bodmin Jail. This boasts the new 'Dark Walk'that takes guests on a journey back in time to see what life was like in the jail in the 18th and the 19th Century. You meet some of its former inmates and see what conditions inside the jail were really like for the prisons, hear stories from highway robbers, smugglers, miners, and tales of infamous the Beast of Bodmin.
Further down we have the Shipwreck Museum at Charlestown and the Lost Gardens of Heligan near St. Austell - an estate that was rediscovered in the 1990s frozen in time after its staff left for the First World War.
